About House of Bread Ministries
I am a licensed Christian minister. My wife and I have been ministering the word of God to others for over thirty-plus years. My wife and I have been married for over 38 years. We are the proud parents of two adult sons and three grandchildren. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a minor in Marketing. I also hold a Master of Education degree with an emphasis in Clinical Counseling.
My born-again Christian experience happened one afternoon in the front yard of a pastor friend of mine on August 9, 1986. I was actually on my way to choir practice at the time. Go figure? My wife surrendered her life to the Lord as well around three days later.
We have used our ministry gifts over three decades to be a blessing to others. During these years, we attended and completed numerous biblical leadership trainings. Training varied from how to raise godly children to how to have a godly marriage. We performed marriage counseling for over twenty years and served as Lay Pastors at a large local church we have been affiliated with for over thirty years.
I am also part of a five-man volunteer Men’s Ministry team at our local Salvation Army Campus. We have been blessed to be able to minister there four to five times weekly for now going on twenty years of service.
After years of serving other ministries, the Lord laid it on our hearts to launch our own ministry. That was the beginning of “House of Bread Ministries.”
ABibleMinute.Org is an outreach of House of Bread Ministries. It unofficially began in 2013 when I would send a daily devotional to my wife and two sons. I would sometimes share them as a ministry tool as well. Unexpectedly, some people would ask me to put them on my devotional list. Some would share it with others, who would ask if they could be included on the list. It finally grew to where it was too labor intensive to do from my phone every morning.
The devotionals share a scriptural perspective that stems from various life analogies found in common daily experiences.
I pray these brief insights that have helped me walk through countless trials and tribulations will encourage and strengthen you to become a more mature Believer. One that refuses to be overwhelmed or overcome by the challenges life tends to drop in our lap.
Thank you for taking the time to visit. May the power and authority of the Word of God, bless you and keep you solid for His service!
Yours In Christ!
