This powerful verse sums up the nature of God in one word…LOVE!

Jesus proved God had an unsurpassable level of love for us at Calvary. He now longs for us (Mankind) to recognize that truth and love Him back with all our hearts!

If you ask people how they want to be loved, you will confess that they want someone to love them fully and unconditionally. Not partially, and only under certain conditions,

If we research, read, and meditate on the word of God, we will learn these life-changing truths. Truths about deep and wide the depth of God’s love is. Studying the Bible also teaches us how to distinguish between genuine love and counterfeit love. That is a lesson that many people sadly learn the hard way!

And, until a person learns that difference, they are subject to running around looking for love, as the song says… “In all the wrong places.”

The Bible reveals within its rich wisdom that love is usually nurtured, not found.

Let us strive to love God with all that we have. This will help us become more competent witnesses for God’s Kingdom and better people too!
