Good morning!
Lacking confidence in certain areas of life can hurt us spiritually and materially. This can be especially true with regard to needing to have confidence in the prayers we pray.
Prayer should always play a critical role in our lives. However, we must know prayer is not an attempt to get God to see things our way or get something from Him. It is more about submitting our will to His will.
Our prayer petitions to God should reflect the attitude of Jesus, who said to His Father, “Not as I will, but as You will” (Matthew 26:39). When we are in a relationship with God, there is nothing in our lives that is too big or too small for Him to be concerned about. And there is nothing like the comfort that comes from knowing He hears us.
Let us strive to learn and never forget how much God truly cares for us. God not only wants us to bring Him our personal prayer concerns, but also those about family, neighbors, co-workers, and friends.
1 Timothy 2:1 – I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—
Have a confident day in His mercy and grace!
