Good morning!
Although we often like to say God loves us, our behavior may sometime indicate that deep down inside our hearts and minds, we may have some doubts. A doubtful perspective often comes from incorrect thinking. Thinking from a perspective where we feel God sees and relates to us in the same manner as we relate to other human beings. WRONG!
Isaiah 55:8 – For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.
The truth is the love of God surrounds us daily. However, knowing and accepting that truth requires an intimate relationship with our Savior. Meaning that the more confident we become in our relationship with God, the less we will doubt:
1 God’s love is steadfast and unchanging
- God’s love comforts us
- God’s love is revealed to us through Jesus Christ
- God’s love is poured into us through the Holy Spirit
- God’s love compels us to love one another.
Let us strive to not reduce God’s way of thinking down to that of the way a human being functions!
Isaiah 54:10 – Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,’ says the Lord, who has compassion on you.”
