Good morning!
When it comes to bad news it is not uncommon to hear some people say, “Don’t Give me any bad news”! I cannot handle it! That might be regardless of how major or minor the bad news is. might be.
As Believers, we know we live in a fallen world. A world where things can go wrong and go wrong fast.
Psalm 138:7 should prompt us to stop and wonder how much better our attitudes as Believers will be (And stay) if we knew just how often God’s divine intervention prevented any number of other tragedies from happening in our lives.
The Bible clearly displays a pattern where He often provided protection for the children of Israel, Job, Daniel, David., etc. Yes, tragedies happened among their successes, but God was still able to get glory out of various impossible situations.
Remember, although God can deliver us from every trouble, His will is not always to do so. Never forget, trials serve a purpose in prodding our spiritual growth and maturity.
If we never had to face or endure any trials, troubles, or difficulties, we would be ill-equipped to deal with adversity when it did finally arrive. And arrive it shall!
Let us strive to keep our spiritual eyes fixed on more of what God has done instead for us, instead of what we may think He’s failed to do.
May your day be an enlightening and eye-opening one in the power of His might!
