Good morning!
In verse 8 of 2 Corinthians, the Apostle Paul touches on something I refer to as the Terrible T’s.
That being:
Trials
Tribulation
And Troubles
While none of us can know the future, one thing we can be certain of is the unforeseen difficulties of life will eventually show up. And when they do, it is up to us to manage them in a way that does not allow them to dominate and take over our lives.
Trials, Tribulations, and Troubles happen to everyone! So while it may appear from our viewpoint that some people are living a trouble-free life, the reality is that it is highly unlikely. Their smiles might be as fake as Monopoly money.
Jesus spoke of the challenges those who follow Him should be prepared for in John 16:33 when he stated…”In this world, you will have trouble.”
As believers, we must remain so close to God that we constantly stay aware that challenges play their part in God’s plan.
Let us strive to keep our eyes on Jesus and embrace His peace. For it is that peace that can carry us through all of our life’s trials.
Matthew 11:28 – Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
Have a wonderfully wise day in the power of His peace!
