Good morning!
Traveling down a narrow, beat up road late at night without street lights to help guide the way can be dangerous. It can be even worse when that road has no shoulders to help allow for some margin of error.
Spiritually speaking, 2 Peter 3:17 informs us that while we negotiate the path towards Heaven, we are to stay spiritually alert and centered doctrinal wise. Developing strong Bible knowledge that makes us less likely to be led astray by doctrinal error dispensed by false teachers. Peter warns us this can lead us away from the love of God.
Matthew 15:14 – Stay away from those Pharisees! They are like blind people leading other blind people, and all of them will fall into a ditch.”
Let us take to heart his warning and maintain the spiritual balance needed to help us avoid being derailed by false teachers. This will also keep us spiritually safer, stronger and more productive for God.
James 1:12 – Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
Praying your day turns out spiritually balanced and doctrinally sound as well!
