Good morning!
Sometimes there are periods in life when we may feel we have a better chance of sighting Bigfoot than finding the peace of God amid life’s chaos. This viewpoint usually occurs when there is an incorrect perception or wrong teaching about how God sees us.
Romans tells us that if we in faith accept and apply what our Savior accomplished for us at Calvary (The Cross) (Acts 5:30), we will find His peace, along with many other spiritual tools for living a fruitful life.
Finding peace in God means recognizing that (By faith) Jesus as our Savior can bring a magnitude of positive changes that can revolutionalize our life. (Romans 10:9)
The good news is God does not make accepting Him complicated. Unfortunately, people tend to do the opposite by making things become complicated through religious doctrines. At times intentionally and other times out of ignorance.
We are told in 2 Timothy 2:15 that a study of God’s word is necessary and beneficial because that is where we get the revelation of:
A. Who God says we are
B. What God says we have
C. And everything we can do when we apply both A & B in our lives
Studying brings us a Christ-like state of mind and inner peace. Studying enables us to focus more on trusting God and learning how to use the spiritual weapons He’s armed us with.
A lack of study leaves us unsure of what to do and panicking in our pain without putting up any decent fight against the forces of darkness.
Remember, God is only as far away as our lack of faith in believing in Him dictates.
Praying your day is a peaceful one in the basics of the Bible!
