Good morning!
Something is soothing about having someone to comfort us in our darkest hours. Whether they lend encouragement or sit silently nearby to bring comfort simply with their presence, the measure of love they extend to us is appreciated and rarely forgotten.
The measure of how much God can love us is what the Apostle Paul mentions in verses 18 and 19. Paul speaks to how God’s love for us far surpasses any level of supporting, comforting love our fellow man or woman can give.
Comprehending a love this great requires having the faith and wisdom to allow Christ to live through us. That is how we can be lifted beyond our shallow human limits to rise far beyond what our brains/hearts can register.
Romans 8:39 – Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Let us strive to press in to learn (And experience) as much about the love of God as we can. Allowing Him to not only comfort us in our time of need but also prepare us to be better able to comfort others at a higher level in their time of need.
Have a fabulous fret-free day in the comfort of His word!
