THE TIME OF OUR LIVES?

Mar 15, 2026

Ephesians 5:15-16 (NASB) 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time because the days are evil.

Good morning!

It has been said that “Everyone wants to go to heaven!” However, nobody wants to die!

Many people (Christians included) do not like to think or talk about death. But in reality, we are all dying by the minute.

The question we need to ask ourselves is are we doing a good job managing the time God has given us?

Time is a unique commodity we either use or lose! The word “REDEEM” in the present tense calls for us to make it our constant practice to see (With spiritual eyes) the opportunities God providentially places in our path. Each one needs to be viewed as a chance to impact eternity.

One of the foes and dangers to our time usage is letting the cares of this world (Mark 4:19) distract us. These cares hinder the Bible from taking a primary place in our life. They work to crowd out the divine plans God has for us. Over some time, if we are not careful, we can get sidetracked and end up living by life’s demands, and not by God’s priorities.

Proverbs 90:12 – So teach us to number our days, that we may present to Thee a heart of wisdom.

While life may seem too short to do everything we want, God designed it to be long enough to accomplish everything He needs us to do.

Let us strive to seek divine direction and assistance to help us not waste much of our time on things that will not impact eternity.
