Good morning!

Our lives get filled with countless types of offers. We must be aware that not everything that crosses our path is from God. The traps Satan offers come so meticulously wrapped, they can be hard to turn down. They present like the perfect designer car, house, mate, job or investment opportunity with you exclusively in mind. They alway initially appear as great offers and only later on are found to be nothing like was originally offered!

We need Godly discernment to know legitimate offers from counterfeit offers. A failure to know the difference can prove to be quite costly.

In Luke 4:6 Satan presents Jesus an offer by promising to give him authority over every Kingdom on earth (A deal with a hellish price attached) if he will bow down and worship him. Jesus declined.

Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, It is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Jesus knew Satan was a liar (John 8:44) who is very good at offering (And giving) people whatever it takes to destroy their heavenly future.

We must spiritually train ourselves to not blindly accept every (life) offer crossing our path. Using Godly discernment to sniff out the counterfeit offers that have been carefully placed before us with our planned destruction in mind!

2 Corinthians 2:11 – Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Let us strive to seek help from the Holy Spirit and walk in Godly wisdom so we can better discern when an offer we are entertaining is more likely to be a curse than to be a blessing.

Proverbs 10:22 – The blessing of the Lord maketh men rich: neither shall affliction be joined to them.
