Good Morning!

This simple, but powerful verse sums up God’s nature in one word…LOVE!   Jesus proved God’s unsurpassable level of love for us at Calvary. He now longs for us (humankind) to recognize that truth and love Him back with our whole hearts. After all, who can honestly say they don’t desire to have someone love them fully and unconditionally?  

When we research, read, and meditate on God’s word, we will learn these life-changing truths about the breadth and depth of God’s love. The Bible can also help us learn to distinguish between genuine love and counterfeit love.  

Until a person learns the difference, they are subject to be found constantly looking for love, as the song says in all the wrong places. Not knowing that love is usually nurtured, not found.

God has given us the “Love” blueprint to work from. We are to be filled with His Spirit, obey His truths, and walk in the joy, peace, and love of Christ that we draw others to us who are open to hearing what is it about us that allows us to live this way.

John 12:32 – And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Let us strive to love God with our ALL. This will not only enable us to become competent witnesses for God’s Kingdom but better people too.

1 John 4:19 – We love Him because He first loved us.
