Good morning!

Satan is out to deceive us…torment us…and destroy us, so it pays to know where such attacks are likely to start!

His strategy is to start in a person’s mind as the mind is his primary means whereby he can bring about their destruction.

Not surprisingly, God seeks to control the same (Mind) critical territory. Romans 12:1-2 and other scriptures state that God as our Creator is well aware that whoever controls the mind, controls the possessor of that mind (Proverbs 23:7).

Mind games are successfully used by many to deceive and control people. Not surprisingly, spending our time and energy trying to figure out what devious plot or plan might be used against us next is exhausting and impossible to keep up with.

There’s also a reason the Bible informs us to not try to do that. We are told to avoid that strategy because… it’s a total waste of time (Ephesians 6:12).

So, if he’s that good, why would any human attempt to trade wits with him? If they foolishly do, it will be in their own strength. And they should also know beforehand they have no chance of winning against him.

Fortunately, as Believers, we can fight back (And win) in these spiritual (Mind) battles with our spiritual weapons. (2 Corinthians 10:4).

Additionally, please know that spiritual forces aligned against us are not so much seen, as they are discerned, felt, and perceived (Colossians 1:9-10).

Today’s point is to not let the enemy trick us into trying to fight our own battles. Instead, we should operate in the power of Jesus Christ as our Lord, so that battle can be successfully fought through and in Him!

Deuteronomy 20:4 – for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.
