FOLLOWING GOD’S MARCHING ORDERS!

Oct 25, 2026

Joshua 6:3-5 - And you shall march around the city, all the men of war circling the city once. You shall do so for six days. 4 Also seven priests shall carry seven trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark; then on the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. 5 It shall be that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people shall go up, everyone straight ahead.”

Good morning!

Following instructions is a key part of our daily lives. How well we do it determines many outcomes in life. Whether we miss too many God-sent opportunities, that could make major differences in our life course. More importantly, it can determine if we live or die eternally.

Deuteronomy 30:19 I place before you death and life…choose life.

Joshua was given the task of conquering the supposedly impenetrable city of Jericho. God gave him specific, detailed instructions to follow to gain the victory.

We will always face battles in life and we have the option to either listen to God or ignore Him. Choosing to instead pick up our own instruments of war and make it our battle instead of His. Not the best choice!

Let us strive to seek the counsel of God so we can hear and follow His detailed instructions.

1 Samuel 17:47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD’s…

Have a wonderful day walking by His word!
