The road of life has many unplanned, unpleasant, and unforeseen pitfalls. As Believers, it is up to us regarding how we plan to travel down the road of life.

We either travel down the road while filled with faith or filled with fear. John 16:33 tells us that our choice is greatly influenced by the amount of peace we have in Christ.

Jesus said we can have His peace if we want it. Or we have the choice to let the pressures from this world clamp down on us.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 We are hard-pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

To truly walk in the peace truth spoken of within this verse requires patterning ourselves after Jesus. However, doing so requires getting ready and staying ready before the opposition arrives!

Let us strive to never become so comfortable in this world that we stop being the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13) we are called to be!
