Good morning!

One of the most damaging tools we possess is our tongue. We can use it to shape our world for the better by speaking blessings, or we can assist in deforming and destroying our world by speaking curses.

Proverbs 18:21 – Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

By gaining control of our tongue, we can help reduce some amount of pain and suffering from our lives. Even better, when we learn to control our tongue, we will have fewer words to give an account for when we stand before God.

Matthew 12:36 – But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Let us strive to let the Holy Spirit assist us in using God’s word (The Bible) to renew our minds. Helping us become more mature in choosing the words we speak while overcoming those bad “word” habits we may be finding hard to break.

May our mouths only speak out a multitude of blessings each day!
