Good morning!
I recall some time back finally getting around to relocating a few of my wireless security cameras. At one point, I found they weren’t as responsive as I needed them to be. This was due to my placing them on the edge of the signal range from the base (router).
This newer placement made them less effective for keeping me actively alerted to any possible trespassers (we’ve had a car stolen) for property theft or other scenarios that no one wants to happen on their property.
Isaiah 30:21 reminds me of the same principle of what happens when we stray too far away from fellowship with our God. While His signal stays constant and strong, our ability to receive doesn’t.
Our closeness to God can be impacted by how we manage to (knowingly or unknowingly) place ourselves more in sync with the world than with God.
Being too chummy with the world allows Satanic signals to reach us clearer than God’s, thus preventing us from being as alert or sensitive to the signal or whispers of God’s still small voice (1 Kings 19:12-13).
Missing alerts and warnings about Satan’s sneaky intrusions into our lives is never good. These encroachments in our inner sanctum (similar to a physical home invasion) can leave our hearts and minds ransacked and us in disarray from the loss of our inner peace and joy. Leaving them both to be reconstructed. Thank God, He is able!
Psalm 23:3 He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Let us strive to remember God is always trying to speak to us. We must be aware it is a constant battle (Ephesians 6:12) for us to make sure the outside signal interference of this world doesn’t drown out or lure us out of God’s range of communication!
Praying you have a well-connected day in the Lord!
