Most people know it takes very little time for fingerprints and smudges to build up and be noticed in areas of their homes. Whenever too many fingerprints show up, you know it’s cleaning time.

If any controversy ever arose about whether our home belonged to us, a close inspection could clear that up. An inspection would reveal the overwhelming majority of prints in our house could be attributed to my wife and me.

Romans 12:1-2 says, “Not to be conformed to this world.” In other words, do not let the Anti-Christian philosophies of this world mold, shape, and form us into its desired image.

Fingerprints in and around a person’s residence reveal who handles things around that area the most. Romans 12:1-2 warns us to beware of the subtle accumulation of worldly fingerprints upon our lives as it will negatively influence us.

Let us strive to be and stay alert to the powerful worldly influences that try to imprint themselves on our lives daily. And in doing so will wipe away the hand of God by covering up God’s fingerprints (The Image of Christ) upon our lives.

Joshua 1:8 – Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous.

May the Lord’s hand (And prints) be upon you this day!
